舞者以凝重的表情握住對方﹐擺出一幅優雅﹐等待着小提琴打破沉默。急而不放﹐緩而不慢﹐干淨磊落是探戈的特徵。每一步都很壓抑﹐弦聲可隨時引發那股按捺不住的憂鬱。他們會因為小提琴一時發出尖促的聲音﹐突然激情地擺出很有力度姿態而停頓﹐壓抑已久的情緒盡情怒放﹐瞬間美化兩個脆弱的靈魂﹔未間斷弦聲又悠悠奏起﹐逮住所有的情感。意猶未盡之下再度帶領他們回到醞釀憂鬱的維谷裡。此時不同的是﹐雙方已是惺惺惜惺惺﹐期望著下一度高潮﹐一起抒發。即將接近尾聲﹐大提琴以沉重的弦聲交待兩人的無奈﹐完成一場探戈——淒美就凝固在樂章的休止符裡。
